10/20/2009: JV Girls Waterpolo Team conquers Carondolet 8-5
The team started out strong by leading the scoring 6-2 at the half. The third quarter scoring favored Carondolet, with FHS scoring no goals, while their opponent added 2 more to their total. But, as anyone who watches these girls play knows, they LOVE to rally in the 4th quarter - so, with Carondolet within 2 points to tie, Klein threw in a beautiful backhanded goal to help finish off the game triumphant.

10/15/2009: Girls JV Water Polo victorious over Cal High in Sudden Death Overtime
This strong group of girls seemed to have trouble in the pool this afternoon trying to keep the 3-1 lead they established in the first quarter - Could it have been the fact that the pool's heater was broken (ARGH!), the
Varsity team borrowed one of their starters, or the girls
were a bit exhausted from Homecoming activities? In the end, it was the sprint in the first 8 seconds of the 5th
period where van der Zee won the sprint, passed the ball to Maria Cui, who in turn passed it back to van der Zee who was already headed to the cage. She paused just long enough to set up her shot , then aimed the ball past the stunned goalie for the sudden death win.

10/13/2009: Girls JV Water Polo beats Monte Vista again 16-1
The heavy rains refused to let up this afternoon - but for the few diehard parents and fans that "braved" the nasty weather the JV girls put on another great showing of team work and individual skills.

Game #1 vs Drake Foothill wins 9-3
Game #2 vs Liberty Foothill wins 17-2
Game #3 vs Acalanes Foothill surrendered the title to a very strong Acalanes team 7-5
