The Foothill JV softball team pulled off another thrilling victory Tuesday, this one against host Carondelet at Willow Pass Park. The JV Falcons took an early lead, only to give it back and then put on a huge rally of their own, only to see the Cougars themselves comeback…the end result was a wild 11-10 victory…as all eyes watched late in the game as 2B-Kelley Dixon made a great defensive stop to end the game, with the bases loaded and 2 outs. The game was a rollercoaster from the start as the Falcons took an encouraging early 3-0 lead, then fell behind 7-3 but then rallied for 8 runs to get the score to 11-7 and then held on for the final margin of 11-10, where every pitch took on new meaning with every hit ball, as both teams continually put runners on base in every inning which put more and more pressure on the respective defenses of both teams.
