 The first half was a back and forth affair with the lead exchanging hands several times. A late basket by MV gave them a 1 point lead going into the second half. Coach Lloyd and the team knew this was a pivotal game in determining the possibility of an NCS appearance. The Falcons turned up the defensive intensity and began to push the ball down the court. Several quick passes by O’Neill to Bussani in transition gave Foothill some easy baskets and Mannion cleaned up the boards which gave them the lead going into the fourth quarter. They continued their offensive ways in the fourth scoring 23 points and putting the game away with a 12 point victory. (14-8, 6-4)
