Boys Varsity Loses Close One to Cal

 This was a battle between the two team tied for third place in league and would determine who was going to take sole position of that spot. Foothill had a slow start and only managed 6 points in the first quarter with Willoughby getting into early foul trouble. The team played even in the second with each scoring 11 points a piece to finish the half 17-24 Cal. Foothill started to make a come back with Willoughby scoring all 9 of the team points in the quarter and keeping Cal to only 6. In the fourth both teams had their best production but time ran out on the Falcons and Cal made their three throws down the stretch to secure the victory.(13-8, 5-4)
