If your son or daughter participates in sports or cheer, and you would like to get involved with a fun, energetic group of parents who support our athletic programs, then now is your chance to get involved! The athletic boosters provides fund raising that supports all FHS sports teams. We meet once per month on the SECOND Monday night at FHS. So get involved today! 2009-2010 Athletics Fair-Share Contributions

Due to the statewide cuts to education, PUSD is no longer able to fund coaching stipends or the position of Athletic Director at either high school. As a result, Foothill High School will be asking for a contribution from each athlete, in each sport, to fund these positions. We believe that these contributions are necessary to maintain the operation of these valuable educational
programs.

After consultation with coaches, parents, district leadership, and athletic administrators from the surrounding area, we have developed a formula to determine the contribution level for each individual sport. This formula will be used by both Amador and Foothill, with approval from PUSD leadership, in order to ensure as much equity as possible within the district.
